A new collaboration project with the acronym ReBBloCs will commence at the project kick off meeting early April 2023.
Together with numerous Dutch partner companies and institutes Renewable Building Blocks from Complex and wet waste Streams (ReBBloCs) will be produced from streams that are currently considered to be waste and incinerated or landfilled. The project will lead to a significant CO2 emission reduction along the product value chain.
IMEnz will contribute to the project by developing efficient fermentation processes based on the (bio)conversion of waste streams yielding high-value biobased building blocks for industrial applications.
